Welcome to BuildingBuys.com, the new source for building materials in the United States and Canada. This site is brought to you by TheHouseWeb.net , which has a wide variety of building related sites. Our goal is to provide a low cost souce for the end user for building materials, and at the same time provide a low cost cost method for getting rid of unwanted or overstocked building supplies. As more suppliers and customers join this site, you will be able to find even more products at great prices.

For the Consumer:

This site provides a low cost source for building materials. It does not recommend any supplier, and is not responsible for any complaints or problems with any supplier. For extra seller protection, you can pay for any merchandise through your Credit Card, or Paypal, which can help to solve a dispute. For anyone without a Paypal account, we have a link here. As more suppliers add products, there may be more products in your local area, where you can personally inspect the products. The arrangements that you make with delivery, payments, and terms, is between each individual customer and supplier.

While this site is still in its' Beta release, the amount of building materials on it will probably remain small, but we expect it to grow very fast, within the next year.

For the Building Products Supplier

This site provides a free way to list your building materials for sale. You have to be approved to sell products, and once you are, with our easy sign up form, you are free to list building materials only. No other types of product listings are accepted. Non-compliance with this policy will force us to delete your account. We are open to manufacturers, building distributors, lumber yards, contractors, and anyone else with excess or low cost building materials.

Our only profit is from advertising, affiliate programs, and optional larger accounts. Up to 10 mb capacity is included free with each account. Inquire for account sizes larger than this. You can optimize the images that you upload in order to maximize the number of items for sale in your account. You can upload both text and images to your account. Each customer has their own subdomain of buildingbuys.com . For instance, say the name of your business is Jones Building Supply. As long as the name is available, you could have jonesbuildingsupply.buildingbuys.com, or just jones.buildingbuys.com, if you prefer.

We are basically providing a clearinghouse for building materials sales, without fees and commissions. The rest is up to you. We are providing tutorials here for basic information.
